Nordic Walking Instruction – learning the technique

The Nordic Walking technique must be learned correctly in order to perform it safely, effectively and achieve maximum physical benefit.

Private Nordic Walking Lesson

  • A private lesson can be just for yourself or for a small group of family/friends.
  • The level is set according to your (or the group’s) fitness level and will allow plenty of individual attention.
  • Three to four private sessions will usually give you sufficient knowledge and technique to practise the activity with confidence by yourself.

Group Nordic Walking Lesson

  • A Nordic Walking group course is suitable for up to a maximum of 12 participants.
  • A group course is usually taught in around 6 sessions over separate days and /or weekends.
  • By the end of the course you will have the knowledge and confidence to continue Nordic Walking on your own.

NB A minimum number of 4 participants is required to run the group technique courses.
